Campaign will highlight the resilience of our community, & elevate solutions to on-going barriers Latinos face
(Arlington, VA) —Today, on the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, The LIBRE Institute announced the kick-off of the “Siempre Saliendo Adelante”campaign (Always Moving Forward) which will highlight the resilience of of Latinos across the county while also elevating ideas and solutions to on-going barriers our community faces.
Ivette Diaz, Foundation Director of The LIBRE Institute, released the following statement:
“In the midst of a historic, difficult year, Latinos continue to contribute to our economy, open businesses, build community, and work toward each of our unique American Dream. We shape America in ways that positively impact daily life. From the food we cook, to the music we produce, to the ideas we develop, to our values — Hispanic influence and contributions are plentiful. And even so, we continue to face immense barriers that slow down the speed of our progress and contributions. Through this campaign we plan to both celebrate our community and have a real conversation on ideas and solutions that will empower our community”
The Siempre Saliendo Adelante campaign will feature multiple community events across the country alongside digital and media content.
