Immigration, Tax Reform Discussed at Hispanic Heritage Reception

Daniel Garza Uncategorized

(Washington, D.C.) – Yesterday The LIBRE Institute cosponsored a reception to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, at the residence of the Vice President of the United States.

Daniel Garza, President of The LIBRE Institute, released the following statement:

“It was an honor to join Vice President Pence in this celebration of the contributions made by millions of Hispanics to our great nation. The team at The LIBRE Institute is honored to have been able to help make it possible. The outpouring of support for the Latino community is great to see, and gratifying to be a part of.

I was also pleased to have the opportunity to discuss some of the key legislative priorities for millions of Latinos across the country. It is clear that our community cares deeply about issues such as tax reform and immigration. If Congress and the president can come together on these important issues, our community and our nation will be stronger and more prosperous, and Hispanics will be better positioned to build their own American Dream. They will be able to do even more to make America stronger.”
