(Washington, D.C.) – The LIBRE Institute will serve as cosponsor of a Hispanic Heritage Month reception hosted by Vice President Mike Pence at the U.S. Naval Observatory, on Wednesday, October 11. The reception is intended to celebrate the contributions that millions of Hispanics have made to our nation.

Daniel Garza, President of The LIBRE Institute, released the following statement:

“Throughout America’s 241-year history, Latinos have made extraordinary contributions to building our great nation. Their hard work, ingenuity, faith, and culture are part of the fabric of America – a critical part of the most successful country the world has ever known. Their contributions have helped America build a dynamic and entrepreneurial economy, a national defense that has helped keep the world free, and a culture that has drawn people from around the globe. We are honored to join with others in celebrating this heritage.”
