Thousands of Families Benefit at Back to School Events by The LIBRE Institute

(Washington, D.C.) – In recent weeks, the staff and volunteers of The LIBRE Institute – in cooperation with local partners – offered back to school events in a number of cities around the country. At events in states like Florida, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada and Virginia, thousands of families participated. These events helped save families hundreds of dollars across the nation. Families and students were provided with school supplies including backpacks and other items. At the same time, parents learned more about educational opportunities for their kids, including scholarships, education savings accounts, charter and private school options, among others.
