(Charlotte, NC) – The LIBRE Institute will host an event on March 23rd in celebration of Women’s History Month. Come join us and learn about starting or growing your small business on the way to achieving the American Dream! Attendees will have an opportunity to learn strategies on how to start or grow a small business, suggestions on working with a mentor, and tips on how to successfully build a professional network. Our feature speaker, Andres Gutierrez (El Machete), will share his experience on achieving his business goals and how to grow a business in the long term. There will also be a three person panel that will include successful women entrepreneurs from North Carolina discussing topics aimed at empowering women in the business field.

Vanessa Faura, Outreach Director from The LIBRE Institute in North Carolina, released the following statement:

“We are very excited to be hosting this event in Charlotte. North Carolina was recently ranked among the top 10 states with the greatest number of women owned businesses – which are growing by leaps and bounds across the country. Hispanic women, especially, represent a large portion of this growth in entrepreneurialism – with Latinas accounting for 17 percent of all women-owned businesses, and nearly 600,000 employees. We’re encouraged by this progress – with1.4 million Hispanic women-owned businesses in the U.S.  – and we look forward to having an impactful event full of insight into building your very own successful business.”
