ICYMI: The LIBRE Institute Partnered with Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation® to Empower Youth Through Music in Hialeah
Miami, FL (8/26/25) — Last week, The LIBRE Institute proudly joined the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation® and the City of Hialeah to co-sponsor the Hialeah Parks Afterschool Music Program beautification project. This initiative brought piano and Latin percussion instruction to youth from under-resourced communities, while also creating a newly refurbished classroom to support their learning.
Volunteers from The LIBRE Institute and community partners came together on August 18–19 to transform the student learning space, culminating in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 20. Students, families, and local officials joined to celebrate the new classroom and the opportunities it will provide.
Through this program, students gain not only music education but also life skills, creativity, self-expression, and confidence fostering innovation and growth in the Latino community.
