UU., es especialmente importante comprender plenamente su situaci\u00f3n financiera y los retos a los que se enfrentan. Los hispanos representan el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/fact-tank\/2015\/06\/25\/u-s-hispanic-population-growth-surge-cools\/\">17 %<\/a> de la poblaci\u00f3n de EE. UU., con un poder adquisitivo que, desde finales de los a\u00f1os 80, ha crecido un <a href=\"https:\/\/estore.uga.edu\/C27063_ustores\/web\/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCTID=3694\">70 %<\/a> m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que el de los estadounidenses en su conjunto. Sin embargo, la comunidad afronta desaf\u00edos econ\u00f3micos que hacen que nos quedemos rezagados respecto a la poblaci\u00f3n general. El desempleo entre los hispanos es m\u00e1s alto que en el resto de EE. UU. y siguen vi\u00e9ndose empujados a trabajos a tiempo parcial en mayor proporci\u00f3n que otros, lo que hace que muchos vivan de n\u00f3mina en n\u00f3mina. Los hispanos tienen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prudential.com\/media\/managed\/hispanic_en\/prudential_hafe_researchstudy_2014_en.pdf\">muchas menos probabilidades<\/a> que la poblaci\u00f3n general de contar con planes de jubilaci\u00f3n vinculados al empleo, cuentas de ahorro, acciones, bonos e incluso seguros de vida.    <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/thelibreinstitute.org\/our-team\/daniel-garza\/\">Daniel Garza<\/a>, presidente y presidente del consejo de The LIBRE Institute, emiti\u00f3 la siguiente declaraci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>\u201cLa necesidad de que los hispanos tengan conocimientos financieros es fundamental para el crecimiento de nuestra comunidad y del pa\u00eds en su conjunto.
