Acabas de terminar la universidad con \u00e9xito y ahora est\u00e1s listo para emprender el camino hacia el mundo laboral o, quiz\u00e1, para crear tu propia empresa. Recientemente, el Departamento de Trabajo public\u00f3 la versi\u00f3n final de las nuevas normativas federales sobre horas extra, lo que significa que, si tienes un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dol.gov\/whd\/overtime\/final2016\/\">salario anual inferior a $47.476<\/a>, tienes derecho a cobrar horas extra. Al principio puede sonar genial, pero vamos a profundizar un poco m\u00e1s y ver qu\u00e9 significa para los reci\u00e9n graduados. La realidad es m\u00e1s complicada de lo que parece.    <\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/robasghar\/2014\/01\/13\/what-millennials-want-in-the-workplace-and-why-you-should-start-giving-it-to-them\/#4785845c2fdf\">Forbes<\/a>, el 74% de los millennials valora la flexibilidad en su horario de trabajo, mientras que el 88% quiere que el trabajo y la vida est\u00e9n integrados, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del simple equilibrio entre vida y trabajo. La flexibilidad que muchos buscamos estar\u00e1 en serio peligro con estas pol\u00edticas. Para cumplir con la nueva normativa, muchos empleadores pasar\u00e1n a los trabajadores asalariados a un r\u00e9gimen por horas, recortar\u00e1n horas o exigir\u00e1n a los empleados hacer m\u00e1s trabajo en menos tiempo.  <\/p>\n<p>\u00bfResponder a esos correos a las 20:00? \u00bfQu\u00e9 tal trabajar hasta tarde el mi\u00e9rcoles para poder asistir el jueves a ese evento de networking de j\u00f3venes profesionales? Estas decisiones aparentemente menores ahora se convertir\u00e1n en un enorme reto para empleados y empleadores cuando la nueva norma de horas extra del presidente Obama exija que estas horas se registren meticulosamente. Vivimos en un mundo en constante cambio en el que muchas personas ya no trabajan con un horario simple de 9:00 a 17:00, y estas normativas limitar\u00e1n seriamente la flexibilidad que hace que muchos empleos resulten atractivos.   <\/p>\n<p>\u00bfEres un reci\u00e9n graduado hispano? Enhorabuena: seg\u00fan <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/fact-tank\/2015\/05\/26\/5-facts-about-latinos-and-education\/\">Pew Research<\/a>, formas parte del 15% de hispanos de 25 a 29 a\u00f1os que tiene un t\u00edtulo universitario o superior, frente al 40% de los blancos, el 20% de los negros y el 60% de los asi\u00e1ticos. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.renewoureconomy.org\/research\/better-business\/\">Los hispanos tambi\u00e9n tienen m\u00e1s probabilidades de emprender un negocio<\/a> que la poblaci\u00f3n general de EE. UU. Esta nueva normativa aumentar\u00e1 el coste de hacer negocios, a\u00f1adiendo otra barrera m\u00e1s a las oportunidades para los emprendedores hispanos.  <\/p>\n<p>Estas normativas federales afectar\u00e1n a las peque\u00f1as empresas m\u00e1s que a nadie. Un estudio realizado por <a href=\"https:\/\/nrf.com\/resources\/retail-library\/rethinking-overtime\">Oxford Economics<\/a> estim\u00f3 que 2 millones de trabajadores del comercio minorista y la restauraci\u00f3n en Estados Unidos se ver\u00e1n afectados, de los cuales el 32% pasar\u00e1 a un r\u00e9gimen por horas y el 11% ver\u00e1 reducidas sus horas. Las empresas se ver\u00e1n obligadas a reducir el salario base y las prestaciones de los empleados para compensar la diferencia de las horas extra. Esto dar\u00e1 lugar a empleados descontentos en sus trabajos actuales, adem\u00e1s de suponer una barrera adicional para quienes intentan acceder a nuevos empleos.   <\/p>\n<p>\u00bfCrees que los reci\u00e9n graduados tienen un camino dif\u00edcil por delante?
