Considera las tendencias en la relaci\u00f3n empleo-poblaci\u00f3n de ciertos tipos de trabajadores hispanos \u2014como los m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes o menos cualificados\u2014 en relaci\u00f3n con los cambios en el salario m\u00ednimo. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>El informe concluye:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;\">Despu\u00e9s de todas las subidas del salario m\u00ednimo, excepto una, de las siete principales desde 1954, el crecimiento del empleo juvenil se ralentiz\u00f3 o tendi\u00f3 a la baja. Seg\u00fan los datos disponibles, este patr\u00f3n se mantiene para el empleo de adolescentes hispanos. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;\">Los aumentos del salario m\u00ednimo provocan una presi\u00f3n a la baja en el empleo de los trabajadores latinos m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes o con menor nivel educativo, y el efecto de esta presi\u00f3n a la baja se magnifica a medida que aumenta el salario m\u00ednimo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;\">Los aumentos del salario m\u00ednimo tienen m\u00e1s probabilidades de reducir el empleo de las personas con menor nivel educativo, y este efecto es m\u00e1s evidente en los hispanos que en la poblaci\u00f3n general.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/thelibreinstitute.org\/our-team\/daniel-garza\/\">Daniel Garza<\/a>, presidente de The LIBRE Institute, ha emitido la siguiente declaraci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>\u201cMuchos pol\u00edticos y legisladores est\u00e1n ansiosos por votar \u2014y atribuirse el m\u00e9rito\u2014 medidas que prometen \u2018aumentar el sueldo a los trabajadores\u2019. Pero la realidad es mucho m\u00e1s compleja. Los economistas han entendido desde hace tiempo que subir el salario m\u00ednimo tiende a recompensar a algunos empleados, mientras que otros terminan perdiendo sus puestos de trabajo. Esta importante investigaci\u00f3n de <strong>The LIBRE Institute<\/strong> deja claro que los latinos \u2014especialmente los j\u00f3venes y aquellos con habilidades limitadas\u2014 tienen una probabilidad desproporcionadamente alta de perder sus empleos.
