UU. apenas ha mejorado y los hispanos est\u00e1n sufriendo por ello. Cada mes recopilaremos los \u00faltimos datos sobre el desempleo y mostraremos que no solo el statu quo no funciona, sino que es perjudicial para la comunidad hispana y para la naci\u00f3n en su conjunto. Haz clic <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/viewerng\/viewer?url=http:\/\/thelibreinstitute.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Libre_Infographic_Nov.pdf&amp;hl=en\">aqu\u00ed<\/a> para ver el informe de empleo de noviembre.  <\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abLa econom\u00eda de Estados Unidos ha sido decepcionantemente lenta durante demasiado tiempo y una ligera reducci\u00f3n de la tasa de desempleo oculta los problemas econ\u00f3micos que angustian a millones de familias estadounidenses. Los salarios se han mantenido estancados desde el a\u00f1o 2000, nuestra tasa de participaci\u00f3n en la fuerza laboral ha ca\u00eddo a niveles de la d\u00e9cada de 1970, la propiedad de vivienda contin\u00faa su descenso de 10 a\u00f1os y la creaci\u00f3n de empleo por parte de nuevas empresas ha ca\u00eddo en m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de puestos desde el a\u00f1o 2000. Hoy, el desempleo hispano sigue siendo un punto porcentual m\u00e1s alto que el de todos los trabajadores y, a\u00fan m\u00e1s preocupante, es que el porcentaje de latinos en la fuerza laboral cay\u00f3 este mes. De hecho, 1 de cada 4 hispanos desempleados se encuentra ahora entre las filas de los desempleados de larga duraci\u00f3n\u00bb.   <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Se espera que las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas establecidas en Washington experimenten cambios significativos en los pr\u00f3ximos meses. Los responsables pol\u00edticos deben recordar que un problema a largo plazo en la econom\u00eda ha sido la falta de oportunidades de nivel inicial, ya que las regulaciones y los mandatos del gobierno hacen que sea m\u00e1s caro y m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil para las peque\u00f1as empresas contratar nuevo personal. Estas oportunidades suelen ser fundamentales para los latinos y para los trabajadores que necesitan adquirir y desarrollar nuevas habilidades.
