Gallup descubri\u00f3 que el 49 % de los estadounidenses cree que los inmigrantes ayudan a la econom\u00eda del pa\u00eds al proporcionar mano de obra de bajo coste, frente a solo el 40 % que dice que perjudican la econom\u00eda, un cambio respecto a la \u00faltima vez que se realiz\u00f3 esta encuesta, en 2005. Adem\u00e1s, el 72 % dice que los inmigrantes ocupan empleos que los estadounidenses no quieren, frente a solo el 18 % que sostiene la opini\u00f3n contraria. Asimismo, la encuesta muestra que entre los trabajadores estadounidenses que creen que la inmigraci\u00f3n ha tenido un impacto en su trabajo o empresa, m\u00e1s dicen que este ha sido positivo en lugar de negativo.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Garza, presidente de The LIBRE Institute, emiti\u00f3 la siguiente declaraci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>\u00abA lo largo de nuestra historia, Estados Unidos se ha beneficiado de las contribuciones de los inmigrantes. A\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o, la gran mayor\u00eda de los reci\u00e9n llegados han venido a Estados Unidos buscando construir mejores vidas para s\u00ed mismos, mientras contribuyen a un Estados Unidos m\u00e1s fuerte y pr\u00f3spero. Eso sigue siendo cierto hoy, y estos hallazgos de Gallup muestran que el pueblo estadounidense lo reconoce.
