Existen varios conceptos err\u00f3neos sobre las escuelas ch\u00e1rter que pueden arrojar una luz negativa sobre lo que en realidad es <strong>una oportunidad positiva para las familias, los profesores y los estudiantes<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>Como parte de la iniciativa de The LIBRE Institute en Colorado, estamos intentando difundir <strong>la verdad<\/strong> sobre la elecci\u00f3n de escuela.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n encontrar\u00e1s una lista verificada de algunos de los mitos m\u00e1s populares sobre las escuelas ch\u00e1rter. \u00a1\u00c9chale un vistazo! <\/p>\n<p><strong>Mito 1: Las escuelas ch\u00e1rter no son escuelas p\u00fablicas. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Realidad: \u00a1Las escuelas ch\u00e1rter tambi\u00e9n son escuelas p\u00fablicas!<\/strong> Estas escuelas est\u00e1n financiadas p\u00fablicamente por el gobierno y administradas de forma independiente. Las escuelas ch\u00e1rter operan con m\u00e1s flexibilidad para crear entornos de aprendizaje innovadores, mientras siguen manteni\u00e9ndose bajo un alto est\u00e1ndar de responsabilidad. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Mito 2: Las escuelas ch\u00e1rter tienen tasas de matr\u00edcula elevadas. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Realidad: \u00a1Las escuelas ch\u00e1rter no tienen tasas de matr\u00edcula!<\/strong> Al igual que las escuelas p\u00fablicas tradicionales, est\u00e1n financiadas de acuerdo con los niveles de inscripci\u00f3n y reciben fondos p\u00fablicos por alumno. Las escuelas ch\u00e1rter deben demostrar rendimiento en las \u00e1reas de logro acad\u00e9mico, gesti\u00f3n financiera y estabilidad organizativa. Si una escuela ch\u00e1rter no cumple los objetivos de rendimiento, puede ser cerrada.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Mito 3: Las escuelas ch\u00e1rter tienen est\u00e1ndares de admisi\u00f3n elevados o solo eligen a los mejores estudiantes de un distrito. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Realidad: Las escuelas ch\u00e1rter aceptan a todos los estudiantes que pueden.<\/strong> Las escuelas ch\u00e1rter en Colorado <a href=\"http:\/\/coloradoleague.org\/page\/charterschoolfacts\">atienden a una amplia variedad de estudiantes<\/a>, incluidos estudiantes de bajos ingresos, minor\u00edas raciales y \u00e9tnicas, y estudiantes con discapacidades u otras necesidades especiales.
