UU. no es simplemente un problema de ingresos por tarifas, sino m\u00e1s bien un problema de gasto y mala gesti\u00f3n. La norma debe ser rechazada, ya que no aborda los factores que impulsan el aumento de los costes del USCIS y carece de autoridad legal para transferir ingresos del USCIS para financiar las actividades de aplicaci\u00f3n de la ley del ICE. <\/p>\n<p>Del comentario p\u00fablico:<\/p>\n<p>En nombre de Americans for Prosperity Foundation y The LIBRE Institute, escribo en respuesta a la norma propuesta por el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional (\u00abDHS\u00bb) con respecto al ajuste de las tarifas de solicitud de beneficios de inmigraci\u00f3n y naturalizaci\u00f3n. Los efectos de la norma propuesta se sumar\u00e1n a las numerosas barreras existentes contra aquellos que buscan inmigrar legalmente a los Estados Unidos. Cualquier d\u00e9ficit de ingresos en el Servicio de Ciudadan\u00eda e Inmigraci\u00f3n de EE. UU. (\u00abUSCIS\u00bb) debe abordarse primero rescindiendo pol\u00edticas y pr\u00e1cticas ineficientes que est\u00e1n prolongando innecesariamente los tiempos de procesamiento y aumentando los costes.  <\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el USCIS a\u00fan no ha especificado completamente qu\u00e9 gastos cubrir\u00e1n los aumentos de tarifas propuestos. La norma tambi\u00e9n propone transferir ingresos del USCIS para financiar actividades del Servicio de Inmigraci\u00f3n y Control de Aduanas (\u00abICE\u00bb), a pesar de carecer de autoridad legal para hacerlo. Debido a que los aumentos exorbitantes de tarifas imponen cargas adicionales a innumerables individuos, familias, empresas y otros que dependen del sistema de inmigraci\u00f3n de EE. UU., aumentar las tarifas de solicitud deber\u00eda ser una opci\u00f3n de \u00faltimo recurso.
