El personal y los voluntarios de <strong>El Instituto LIBRE<\/strong> trabajar\u00e1n para involucrar a la comunidad hispana con informaci\u00f3n sobre c\u00f3mo abrir toda la variedad de opciones educativas \u2014desde escuelas privadas, hasta escuelas en l\u00ednea, educaci\u00f3n en casa y m\u00e1s\u2014 podr\u00eda significar un futuro m\u00e1s prometedor para sus hijos. Seg\u00fan <a href=\"http:\/\/voxxi.com\/2013\/06\/charter-schools-hispanic-students\/\">un estudio de 2013 realizado por investigadores de Stanford<\/a>, por ejemplo, los estudiantes hispanos en situaci\u00f3n de pobreza tienen mayores avances de aprendizaje en las escuelas ch\u00e1rter que otros estudiantes, una tendencia que puede ampliarse a medida que crece la conciencia sobre los beneficios de una mayor elecci\u00f3n escolar.  <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/thelibreinitiative.com\/users\/rachel-campos-duffy\">Rachel Campos-Duffy<\/a>, portavoz nacional de El Instituto LIBRE, emiti\u00f3 la siguiente declaraci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>\u00abNuestra m\u00e1xima prioridad esta semana es concienciar y disipar la desinformaci\u00f3n sobre la elecci\u00f3n escolar. La Semana Nacional de Elecci\u00f3n Escolar es el momento perfecto para que los padres \u2014particularmente los hispanos\u2014 ejerzan m\u00e1s control sobre c\u00f3mo y d\u00f3nde se educan sus hijos. Como madre latina que ha aprovechado las opciones educativas para mis propios hijos, puedo dar fe de la importancia de ejercer el derecho a elegir la escuela que mejor refleje los valores de nuestra familia y que mejor sirva a las necesidades educativas de nuestros hijos.   <\/em><br \/>\n<em>La calidad de la educaci\u00f3n de tu hijo impacta sus oportunidades futuras y su potencial de ingresos. Es injusto que los ni\u00f1os queden atrapados en escuelas peligrosas o de bajo rendimiento simplemente porque son pobres o tienen el c\u00f3digo postal equivocado. Invitamos a todos los que reconocen el problema con este sistema a que salgan en apoyo de proteger y ampliar la elecci\u00f3n escolar en su estado.
