El programa tiene como objetivo garantizar que los latinos que carecen de educaci\u00f3n secundaria tengan la oportunidad de obtener un Certificado de Equivalencia de Educaci\u00f3n Secundaria y dar pasos para avanzar en su Sue\u00f1o Americano. UU. sin educaci\u00f3n secundaria, lo que perjudica las oportunidades para las familias, ejerce presiones adicionales sobre nuestras agencias de servicios sociales y humanos, y <a href=\"http:\/\/cl.s6.exct.net\/?qs=5ce8c94b53fc8327748c731b045b612059976907ec087aa2b5a7c8b1408af35fee56f94e1bdeee55\">sobrecarga<\/a> la econom\u00eda en general. Los hispanos son el grupo demogr\u00e1fico con el mayor n\u00famero de adultos sin educaci\u00f3n secundaria en EE. UU.: un asombroso <a href=\"http:\/\/cl.s6.exct.net\/?qs=5ce8c94b53fc8327f34b770c101d71ec0bb9dd6c5fb10e685d71f0545bd93fbadd2026e8ef40b55b\">31 %<\/a> de los hispanos de 18 a\u00f1os o m\u00e1s en EE. UU. no posee un diploma de educaci\u00f3n secundaria.<\/p>\n<p>Para los estudiantes adultos hispanos, una credencial de equivalencia de educaci\u00f3n secundaria podr\u00eda significar nuevas oportunidades de educaci\u00f3n postsecundaria y empleo. Obtener su Certificado de Equivalencia de Educaci\u00f3n Secundaria aumentar\u00eda su potencial de ingresos, lo que ayuda a llevar a una vida m\u00e1s pr\u00f3spera. Los trabajadores hispanos de 25 a\u00f1os o m\u00e1s con diploma de educaci\u00f3n secundaria ganan un 28 % m\u00e1s por semana que aquellos sin credencial de educaci\u00f3n secundaria, seg\u00fan la Oficina de Estad\u00edsticas Laborales de EE. UU.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abParte de nuestra misi\u00f3n en el Instituto LIBRE es proporcionar a la comunidad hispana los recursos que necesita para tener \u00e9xito, prosperar y obtener mayores oportunidades econ\u00f3micas. A trav\u00e9s de los pilares de educaci\u00f3n, prosperidad econ\u00f3mica, fe y familia, mejoramos el bienestar general y empoderamos a los hispanos para alcanzar el Sue\u00f1o Americano. Los principios de libertad se practican mejor una vez que el individuo ha sido empoderado con la opci\u00f3n de tomar posesi\u00f3n de sus talentos y habilidades,\u00bb<\/em> declar\u00f3 Ivette Fern\u00e1ndez, directora nacional del Instituto LIBRE.<\/p>\n<p>La HSDI proporciona a los estudiantes seleccionados una plataforma de aprendizaje en l\u00ednea, a su propio ritmo, que se adapta a la capacidad de aprendizaje de cada individuo; est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para equipar a los estudiantes hispanos para realizar y aprobar el examen GED\u00ae. Los coordinadores del programa HSDI trabajar\u00e1n con todos los inscritos para facilitar la finalizaci\u00f3n del programa y aumentar las posibilidades de \u00e9xito en el examen. La HSDI tambi\u00e9n incluye un componente de principios de libre mercado. Se anima a los residentes interesados de Florida y Texas a consultar la p\u00e1gina web del Instituto LIBRE, que contiene noticias importantes sobre la HSDI y el proceso de solicitud.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abCuando mi familia y yo finalmente pudimos dejar los campos, siempre supe que si no me era posible obtener un diploma de educaci\u00f3n secundaria, obtener un equivalente ser\u00eda la \u00fanica manera de poder ir a la universidad.<\/em> <em>No se me escapaba que a los 17 a\u00f1os era un desertor escolar, trabajando por poco dinero en los campos, sin perspectivas de una profesi\u00f3n o carrera significativa, y sin embargo 17 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s estaba trabajando como miembro del personal de la Casa Blanca para el l\u00edder m\u00e1s poderoso del mundo. Agradezco a mi familia cada d\u00eda por la ayuda y la \u00e9tica que me proporcionaron, y ahora \u2014en el Instituto LIBRE\u2014 esperamos hacer lo mismo por nuestra comunidad,\u00bb <\/em>a\u00f1adi\u00f3 Daniel Garza, presidente del Instituto LIBRE.<\/p>\n<p>El programa no tiene coste para los participantes seleccionados. Se pide a los solicitantes que rellenen una solicitud y completen un ensayo. Las plazas son limitadas.
