{"id":11273,"date":"2026-04-09T16:01:28","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T20:01:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelibreinstitute.org\/blog\/2026\/04\/cuanto-falta-para-que-la-deuda-nacional-ponga-el-sueno-americano-fuera-del-alcance-de-los-hispanos\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T16:01:28","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T20:01:28","slug":"cuanto-falta-para-que-la-deuda-nacional-ponga-el-sueno-americano-fuera-del-alcance-de-los-hispanos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelibreinstitute.org\/es\/blog\/2026\/04\/cuanto-falta-para-que-la-deuda-nacional-ponga-el-sueno-americano-fuera-del-alcance-de-los-hispanos\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00bfCu\u00e1nto falta para que la deuda nacional ponga el sue\u00f1o americano fuera del alcance de los hispanos?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El mes pasado, la Oficina de Presupuesto del Congreso (CBO), estrictamente no partidista, public\u00f3 su <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbo.gov\/publication\/50250\">Perspectiva Presupuestaria a Largo Plazo de 2015<\/a>, que describ\u00eda nuestra creciente deuda nacional como una gran amenaza para la estabilidad econ\u00f3mica y el futuro de nuestra naci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el informe, el aumento de la deuda federal frenar\u00e1 el ya de por s\u00ed an\u00e9mico crecimiento econ\u00f3mico en las pr\u00f3ximas d\u00e9cadas, lo que provocar\u00e1 una ca\u00edda de los ingresos mientras se espera que, al mismo tiempo, aumente la dependencia de los programas gubernamentales. Esta situaci\u00f3n obligar\u00e1 a nuestra naci\u00f3n a pedir prestado a\u00fan m\u00e1s, elevando la probabilidad de una crisis econ\u00f3mica grave. Esta tesitura es particularmente preocupante para los hispanos, quienes debido a su relativa juventud en comparaci\u00f3n con el resto de la poblaci\u00f3n, experimentar\u00e1n una erosi\u00f3n del sue\u00f1o americano causada por d\u00e9cadas de pol\u00edticas fiscales irresponsables. De hecho, seg\u00fan el informe de la CBO: \u201cla gran cantidad de pr\u00e9stamos federales restar\u00eda inversi\u00f3n privada en capital productivo a largo plazo, porque la parte de los ahorros de la gente utilizada para comprar valores gubernamentales no estar\u00eda disponible para financiar la inversi\u00f3n privada\u201d. A su vez, el gasto federal en el pago de intereses aumentar\u00eda, lo que obligar\u00eda al gobierno a subir los impuestos o reducir el gasto en beneficios y servicios, seg\u00fan el an\u00e1lisis de la CBO.    <\/p>\n<p>\u00bfCu\u00e1nto tiempo puede la naci\u00f3n sostener el aumento de la deuda federal? Aunque incluso la CBO admite que es dif\u00edcil responder a esta pregunta con confianza, su \u00faltimo informe ofrece una certeza aterradora sobre lo que acabar\u00eda ocurriendo si la deuda nacional sigue creciendo: <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>En alg\u00fan momento, los inversores empezar\u00edan a dudar de la voluntad o capacidad del gobierno para cumplir con sus obligaciones de deuda, lo que le obligar\u00eda a pagar costes por intereses mucho m\u00e1s altos para seguir pidiendo dinero prestado. Una crisis fiscal de este tipo plantear\u00eda a los responsables pol\u00edticos opciones extremadamente dif\u00edciles y probablemente tendr\u00eda un impacto negativo sustancial en el pa\u00eds. Lamentablemente, no hay forma de predecir con confianza si ocurrir\u00e1 una crisis fiscal de este tipo en los Estados Unidos ni cu\u00e1ndo. En particular, a medida que aumenta la relaci\u00f3n deuda-PIB, no hay un punto identificable que indique que una crisis sea probable o inminente. Pero, en igualdad de condiciones, cuanto mayor sea la deuda de un gobierno, mayor ser\u00e1 el riesgo de una crisis fiscal<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque la presi\u00f3n sobre los legisladores para reducir nuestros d\u00e9ficits federales parece haber disminuido en los \u00faltimos meses, este informe de la CBO es un recordatorio importante de lo cr\u00edtico que es abordar nuestra deuda nacional fuera de control para asegurar la prosperidad a largo plazo en el pa\u00eds. Los desaf\u00edos fiscales actuales de Puerto Rico y Grecia deber\u00edan recordarnos lo t\u00f3xicos que pueden ser los d\u00e9ficits desbocados para cualquier econom\u00eda. Cuando la deuda p\u00fablica se vuelve insostenible, los pobres y los m\u00e1s necesitados son quienes m\u00e1s sufren sus consecuencias negativas. No abordar nuestra creciente deuda nacional significa no solo ignorar los peligros reales del gasto excesivo del gobierno, sino tambi\u00e9n negar las aspiraciones de todos los estadounidenses \u2014incluida la comunidad hispana\u2014 de alcanzar el sue\u00f1o americano.   <\/p>\n<p>Los hispanos, m\u00e1s que cualquier otro grupo demogr\u00e1fico, <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/2015\/07\/02\/news\/economy\/blacks-hispanics-american-dream\/\">siguen creyendo<\/a> en el sue\u00f1o americano a pesar de una recuperaci\u00f3n an\u00e9mica y una econom\u00eda estancada que mantiene a millones de ellos en la pobreza (los hispanos tienen la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/chuckdevore\/2015\/06\/21\/america-majority-minority-by-2044-with-four-states-already-there-minorities-do-best-in-texas\/\">segunda tasa de pobreza m\u00e1s alta<\/a>).
