Family Manager
The LIBRE Institute, the sister organization of The LIBRE Initiative, is seeking a Family Manager to lead all programs under the Family Pillar. Family – la familia – is an integral part of the Hispanic culture. The Family Pillar empowers communities by strengthening women and the family unit through programs that provide mentoring, professional development, and other leadership initiatives so they may thrive and help members of their family do the same. The Family Manager must be well-versed in the Hispanic culture and familial values and understand the influence and importance of the family structure within the Hispanic community. The position will report to the National Director of The LIBRE Institute.
The LIBRE Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-partisan, non-profit organization that engages and informs the U.S. Hispanic community on the importance of economic freedom, because “Freedom Drives Progress.” Through economic prosperity, education, faith, and family pillars, The LIBRE Institute empowers communities to achieve the American dream!
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop national educational programs and events aimed to educate on the free enterprise system and the benefits of a limited government, and to improve the well-being of U.S. Hispanics.
- Identify key family and female leaders to engage and gain their support of the organization and its mission.
- Seek media opportunities with family and female-based television, radio, print, and digital media outlets to promote the organization and its outreach to family and women communities in conjunction with department heads.
- Manage strategic development and execution of educational programs.
- Utilize strong interpersonal and communicative skills to network and build community partnerships that serve as a source of information on pressing economic issues.
- Establish metrics and benchmarks to measure the impact and effectiveness of efforts.
- Effectively work with colleagues across the organization in varied levels of expertise and remote settings.
- Supervise a Program Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years’ experience in a related field preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, both verbal and written preferred
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout the U.S.
- Values team collaboration, honesty, integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial attitude
- Strategic and critical thinking skills, as well as outstanding communication skills
- Strong public speaker
- Provides timely and effective coordination and communication with management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of relevant concerns within Hispanic households and an understanding of what influences Hispanic values
- Candidates with experience and knowledge of non-profit and private sector organizations strongly preferred

Program Coordinator
The LIBRE Institute, the sister organization of The LIBRE Initiative, is seeking a Program Coordinator that is skilled in logistics, planning, project management, and working collaboratively with a team. The Program Coordinator must share a passion for providing education and resources to further the economic freedom of the U.S. Hispanic population and believe in the entrepreneurial foundation of the American dream. The position will report to both the Faith and Family Managers.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Work with managers to meet program goals: confirming dates, locations, speakers, and catering; securing travel arrangements for speakers and presenters; shipping materials; and otherwise finding ways to ensure logistically excellent programs.
- Successfully operate within an established program and event budget.
- Effectively work with colleagues across the organization in varied levels of expertise and remote settings.
- Remain abreast of current influences in the Hispanic community that are relevant to designated pillars.
- Consistently reevaluate programs and projects to ensure that they align with the overall mission of The LIBRE Institute and its pillars.
- Perform administrative duties and other special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, both verbal and written preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience implementing varied initiatives and proven organizational tactics
- Candidates with extensive event planning and hands on logistics experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally throughout the U.S.
- Values team collaboration, honesty, integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial attitude
- Strong organizational, logistical, project management, and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capacity to work independently, acute attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize among competing tasks
- Aptitude to work with individuals in varying levels of expertise and remote settings
